Welcome to the French Caribbean !
The fastest method of acquiring a good level of linguistic knowledge is to learn a language in situ. Inter Media Langues Caraïbes offers you, within a tailor made and comfortable frame work, the possibility to develop your linguistic skills, integrating high level training with cultural immersion. You will gain confidence and develop skills that will aid you throughout your life.
Make the most of your stay by discovering the colourful and fascinating creole culture, not only through staying in a family group, but also via educational trips organised throughout the course. Guadeloupe’s ancestral culture will enchant you with its richness and its perfect blend of African, Asian and European ingredients. Live the tropical francophone life! The beauty of the islands beaches calls for relaxation, the luxuriant natural environment encourages adventure and discovery outside of the classroom.
Guadeloupe is waiting just for you…

The choice for smart tourism |
A dynamic team, a careful hosting service, a warm welcome to everyone and a great site located in the heart of the city. These are the factors of a successful academic and personal stay.

Guadeloupe is also on the other side of the island, rainforest and rolling green, its volcano and yellow lichens, submarine reserves where you can meet, it says, turtles.
The small student number ensures an individual care from the teacher and allows to each student to enjoy a comfortable talk time during the course. Once every three weeks, the semi-intensive course takes the form of a visit outside (for example: the garden Creole, drum workshop, the distillery) or a conference at the school on topics such as culture, history or the school system. Visits and conferences are prepared by the students and the teacher. The purpose of these meetings is to allow everyone to deepen one aspect of the Island such as the cultural, economic or social.

We welcome about 450 students per year from every country for a stay from 1 week to three months. Per week we have between 20 to 45 students according to the season. Most of the students are whether adults (young graduates, business people and passionate Francophiles) or university students who wish to improve their French language skills for professional or personal reasons.
The typical student: 28 years old, working, in need of fluency in French for his job. French language is often the second or the third foreign language.
The age range is between 18 to 75 year old
